Data and sources

Purserhouse uses official tariff tables, central bank exchange rates, a freight trend index and sanctions lists. Each source has a licence entry; sources not yet reviewed are loaded but not shown to customers. A public snapshot is at /api/market.

Purserhouse answers only from sources it can name. This page lists them in plain words: what each one is, how often it updates, and whether a customer can see it today. The live snapshot is on the market page .

Not available

The Saudi ZATCA tariff (no downloadable file), the Turkey tariff (scanned documents) and EU TARIC (login required) are not used. For these, Purserhouse does not calculate duty: the answer says “not calculated”.

What “licence status” means

Purserhouse keeps a licence ledger. A source marked “not yet reviewed” is loaded and monitored, but its numbers are not shown in customer answers or in the public data until its terms have been read and recorded. Purserhouse never fills a gap with an estimate from general knowledge.
